Route competence qualification NAT HLA:
Bring back to life Mr. Charles Lindbergh who led today´s pilots across the Atlantic. As you are today´s expert, you show him around the North Atlantic High Level Airspace (NAT HLA). As he remembers some general information, he puts a special emphasis on the geography and weather while you take care of the different air traffic control sectors and air routes as well as associated communication procedures to expect in this area. Separation and contingency procedures complete the exchange. It serves as initial and refresher training.
This training is based on the following regulations:
• EASA ORO FC
• ICAO NAT doc 007
• ICAO NAT doc 008
• ICAO NAT OPS Bulletin (misc.)
