Route competence qualification ASIA:

You are switching to long range ops and meet CPT Dieter who is about to retire. He will brief you everything about flying to Asia. And even more...Afterwards, you will be well familiarized with the Asian airspace: Besides general information, a special emphasis is put on the geography and weather to expect in this area. In addition to that, the different air traffic control sectors and air routes with associated communication regulations as well as separation and contingency procedures are discussed. It serves as initial and refresher training.
