Route competence qualification AFI:
This training deals with the area familiarization for the Africa airspace. Tina travels through Africa and meets Emmanuel - a local aviator. Besides a chat about general information regarding AFI, they put a special emphasis on the geography and weather to expect in this area. In addition, the different air traffic control sectors and air routes with associated communication regulations as well as separation and contingency procedures are discussed. It serves as initial and refresher training.
